Odontohypophosphatasia is the mildes form of hypophosphatasia. Inheritance is dominant and the gene responsible for this disorder is ALPL. Clinial manifestation is delayed healing of bone fractures and diffuse pain.
The therapy is possible by recombinant PTH, which when given intermittently is able to recruit the residual alkaline phosphatase function. Additionally for therapy, Strensiq® (asfotase alfa) is available.
