Highly sensitive PNA-based PCR
PNA-PCR is a highly sensitive PCR by which the amplification of the normal sequence is suppressed by PNA binding, so only mutated alleles are amplified in significant quantities. This is of particular importance to detect rare somatic mutations present as mosaic.
A single mutated allele can be detected in 1000-5000 normal alleles.
