Interferon regulierender Faktor 3

Das IRF3-Gen kodiert eine Element der Signalkaskade welches für die Induktion der Trasnkription von Interferon alpha und beta und verschiedenen weiteren interferonabhängigen Genen verantwortlich ist. Mutationen erzeugen eine autosomal dominante Anfälligkeit für Herpes-Enzephalitis und COVID-19.
