Mitochondrial TRND gene

The mitochondrial gene MT-TD encodes a transport RNA (tRNA) for aspartic acid (D). The gene is encoded by nucleotides 7518-7585. Mutations cause myopathy. The ensemble of all mitochondrial genes is tested if a mitochondrial disorder has to be diagnosed.
