With normal blood levels glucose does not appear in urine. In glucosuria, however glucose is excreted in urine due to renal tubular damage or height blood glucose levels.

Glucosuria without other symptoms neither diabetes melitus nor proximal tubular damage is the hallmark of renal glucosuria. |
