Conotruncal heart malformations are a group of congenital cardiac outflow tract anomalies that include such defects as tetralogy of Fallot, truncus arteriosus, pulmonary atresia with ventricular septal defect, double-outlet left or right ventricle, and transposition of the great arteries. They account for aboot 30% of all non-syndromic congenital heart malformations. Various modes of inheritance and genes are involved.
